DEL DAY SCHEDULE

10:00 am – 1:00 pm / $20
Master Class and Choreography with Larry Keigwin and Taryn Vander Hoop for DEL Day
Taryn Vander Hoop, co-founder of Summation Dance and Dance Education Laboratory 92Y (DEL) Faculty, will be collaborating with Larry Keigwin by applying essential principles of the DEL Model of Dance Education to create insta-choreography for DEL Day. Following Larry’s regular master class, Taryn will reveal the infinite possibilities for action words that exist within the framework of Larry’s movement. We will collectively create one Movement Sentence and use this as a model to create individual choreography. Larry and Taryn will then organize a group composition that will culminate with a live-streamed performance.

1:00 – 2:00 pm / Free
Lunch & Learn conversation with Jody Arnhold (DEL Founder), John-Mario Sevilla (Harkness Dance Center Director), Ana Nery-Fragoso (NYCDOE Director of Dance), Mariangela Lopez (Gibney Dance Commissioned Artist), Kathleen Isaac (Director, Hunter College Dance Education), and Deborah Damast (NYU Steinhart)
